WSM Labs is a trademark of White Sound Mastering Studio. WSM Labs produces analog esoteric handmade hardware instruments for audio recording and mastering purposes. Founded by Tommy Bianchi and Niccolo' Caldini, we are located in Florence (Italy).
Some years ago we started an exciting collaboration with the italian audio software house Acustica Audio in order to accurately reproducing the sound of WSM PEQ 2.0, our monster mastering equalizer, into an audio software plugin for every DAW. With their unique and powerful technology, has been exactly recreated the wonderful sound of this amazing equalizer.

WSM PEQ - 2.0
STEREO MASTERING EQUALIZER
WSM PEQ-2.0 is a solid state "Pultec® style EQ", with dual-mono channel typology designed specifically for Mastering.
Its solid state design gives it excellent transient response, and has knobs with stepped controls to guarantee perfect reproduction of the stereo spectrum and with amazing complete recall capabilities.
The HARDWARE was created as the evolution of a classic Pultec® equalizer using passive filters , inductors and transformers , while the design choice of a make -up solid state (with incredible headroom and accuracy on the audio transients) makes it suitable and flexible for any musical genre.
The low and hi frequency band has been enhanced by being split , so now, unlike with most Pultec-style units, you can use the controls of the CUT and BOOST simultaneously on multiple frequencies. This provides greater flexibility and many more possibilities for sound-shaping the audio without unwanted phase shifting effects.
The WSM PEQ - 2.0 is a powerful mastering stereo equalizer.

WSM DLP
DUAL CHANNEL LINE PREAMPLIFIER
WSM DLP is a solid state line preamplifier, with dual-mono channel tipology designed specifically for recording applications of line signals. The WSM DLP don't contains microphone preamplifier with +48 V phantom power and phase inverter, it has been designed only for musicians, producers and dj's who want record audio line signals from analog and digital synthesizers, modular systems, digital pianos, analog and digital drum machines, samplers and iPad's output.
The HARDWARE was created with the same solid state design of the WSM PEQ - 2,0, matching the same incredible headroom and sound trasparency, but with the possibiliy of introducing color and saturation if wanted.
The WSM Dual Line Preamplifier has gain control, gain attenuator and Hi-Pass Filter ( 30Hz - 60 Hz - 100 Hz - 200 Hz) for each channel
